Acknowledgement of Barriers Related to Social and Economic Determinants of Health

At Gateway Holistic Care Group, we acknowledge that individuals and families seeking care may experience barriers rooted in social, economic, and structural determinants of health. These include, but are not limited to, income insecurity, housing instability, racial and cultural marginalisation, limited access to healthcare, and systemic inequities in education and service provision.

We are committed to recognising and addressing these barriers through person-centred, culturally responsive, and equity-informed care practices that uphold the dignity and well-being of all persons served.

Gateway Holistic Land Acknowledgement

At Gateway Holistic, we acknowledge that we operate on Treaty 6 territory and the Métis Homeland, the ancestral lands of the Cree, Blackfoot, Métis, Nakota Sioux, Iroquois, Dene, Ojibway, Saulteaux, Anishinaabe, Inuit, and many others.
